Assignment: Design and produce three original posters based on concepts selected by the company, to be displayed within the Black Cub Productions office.
Thought Process: As a short-term intern at Black Cub Productions, my approach to creating these posters was rooted in aligning with the company’s creative vision while bringing a fresh, youthful perspective to the designs. I began by understanding the brand’s identity and the intended message behind each concept chosen by the team. From there, I explored various visual styles and compositions that would resonate within the office environment—balancing bold aesthetics with clear communication. The goal was to craft pieces that not only reflected the company’s dynamic energy but also sparked inspiration among the team.
Concept 1: Design a poster that highlights a person unwinding in their personal office, surrounded by various pieces of film equipment, emphasizing a creative and relaxed studio atmosphere.
Concept 2: Create a simple, vibrant poster of Los Angeles featuring the city skyline, Dodger Stadium, and additional elements of my choice to capture the city’s essence.
Concept 3: Design a poster depicting a backyard barbecue that symbolizes the sense of community and connection within the Black Cub office
